The Town Jail
Options For The Prisoners
-Remove the bars that keep you away from freedom!
With this option you spend your stamina trying to remove the bars from the window, one of them is loosened but with no success.
-Pay your debts to the town!
Here, you have the option to work off your debt, you pay off .5 b per stamina.
-Try to escape by digging your way toward freedom!
There is a hole that has started to be dug you can spend stamina to try to dig your way free. Like the bars, there is no progress bar.
-Lower your penalty by working for the grail lords!
This is bugged, you cannot work off your debt, until you have paid your debt
-Sit your time
There is no option for this, but each day you are in jail you lose 50 penalty points + your popularity.

-Throw an egg at the prisoner
Has a chance to hit, raises your agility skill if it does. If the egg does hit, the prisoner loses 3 reputation in the town.
-Throw a stone at the prisoner
Not yet sure about this option.
-Give a bread to the prisoner
There is no way to access your food in jail, so the prisoner will starve unless fed by townspeople.
The jail is currently bugged, but this will be updated with a screenshot once the page is fixed.

I think it means you can reduce the time spent in prison for working for Grail lords once you pay off your monetary debt... Maybe the wording is not right... >_>

Not a bug.
You can not be released from jail faster as long you still have a dept to the town.
Besides, how did you manage to go to jail Axel? Did you let the Guard beat you up?

I forgot to add why I thought it may be bugged
The current only way to go to jail is to be in debt to the town, but once in jail there is no way to pay off your debt with money, you can only work it off. So right now that option is useless, maybe not bugged, but if there was a way to pay your debt off, then it could be used if you still have a prison penalty. But, I don't know why they wouldn't let you out after paying your debt anyways.

In Jail you can have both (debt & penalty). The penalty is a time you have to spend being Jailed and a debt (sometimes the reason why you get Jailed) is an sum of money you own a town.
The debt, can be lowered by spending stamina. You work for the town at a low wage. That wage goes straight to the Town Treasury and from your debt. Lowering your debt doesn't have any effect on your jail time.
The Jail Time or penalty can only be lowered by spending stamina IF the Seeker has no debt left.
A Seeker can choose not to pay the depths to the town and just wait his/her time...or try to escape.

The only way to go to jail is to lose a fight with a guard, so they'd have to be let of jail, try to leave town, fight the guard, and then not run away or win the fight.
